Inside, you’ll find a comfortable living space, complete with mini cook range (plus microwave for the less adventurous) and underfloor heating for the cooler months. From here, there are steps up to a generous sleeping area, with a king-sized bed and an oh-so-glamorous slipper bath (and a private loo). Outside, there’s a large split-level seating area, where you can while away the hours, counting cows, or gently stoking the firepit. Or why not grab a bottle from the wine cooler and relax from head to (hairy) toes in the hot tub – all thoughts of Mordor - and the M2 -long vanished.
Everywhere, there are thoughtful touches, from the toadstool stools to the velvet drapes to the wrought iron flowers that adorn the banisters, and you’ll probably be spotting your own ‘best bits’ for the duration of your stay.
