A genuinely unique and special place to stay...
We stayed in Gulliver the Quirky Camper and it is now up there as one of our most favourite places we have stayed. The accommodation has so much charm, so many thoughtful touches and well planned details, it really is something else. Our hosts also went out of their way to make our stay super special with a lovely welcome hamper, fluffy white robes, Prosecco and birthday decorations for the birthday boy.
Also with Covid19, importantly I felt that special care had been taken to ensure the cleanliness of the premises and disinfectant spray and hand sanitiser left for our use to give us complete peace of mind. Before arrival we were sent a really excellent app, with every possible question you could have about the property and surrounding area answered. The location is ideal, with a local pub and shop and the crab and winkle way just around the corner for easy car-free access, to Whitstable and Canterbury. This really is a very special place, with owners who go the extra mile in ways that will surprise and delight you.

Me and my partner stayed in the Enchanted faraway treehouse! OMG! What an amazing experience.
I cannot recommend this place more. We had such an amazing time, we was there for 4 nights! The best part is having no signal, and being back to basics! Just being the two of you, connecting again without reality of everything happening in the world; still effective with compiling with the new way of life.
We cooked meals in the log oven, the bbq and heating the hot tub. It was so much fun, full of laughter and fun.
The pub down the road is wonderful to have a nice date night... it’s a touch just being 2 second walk away.
This place will always be the best experience, my partner even got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was magical!
I want to thank Michelle and Chris, it was breathtaking! We will sure be back next year, visiting another cabin.
Lovely Stay at Treehouse Hideaway...
Even before we arrived the instructions sent were really helpful and made finding the treehouse (even in the dark) really easy. We didnt need to check in as the key is in a safety box so that was great. The bag of goodies was lovely and a really nice touch (we even took the non vegan things for our colleagues!) The treehouse is super cute and has everything you could need- oven and a microwave was really handy.
The underfloor heating in bathroom is divine and the bed is so comfy. The hot tub was really lovely and was nice that it was covered by the treehouse because it was quite wet and windy. Super easy to get the bus to and from Canterbury. All in all was a lovely, effortless break and we are really glad we came!
Excellent Getaway...
My husband booked as a weekend away just to unwind and we managed to. We stayed in the secret garden and there was nothing I would change about it.
Everything was just of a high standard, cleanliness was amazing, no noise, and added touches such as robe, slippers, Prosecco and a gift bag of locally sourced foods added to the specialness of the place. Lots of places to go near by (if you even want to leave!) All in all it was an amazing place that I didn’t want to leave.
We will definitely return!
